The Criticism Concept of Arabic Poetry in Ibn Qutaibah and Ibn Sallam Al-Jumahi Perspectives

This study aims to compare with the analysis of thoughts Ibn Qutaiba and Sallam Al-Jumahi in Literary Criticism. The research methodology involves a qualitative writings Qutaibah Al-Jumahi. historical cultural context which these two scholars were writing is also considered order better understand their views on poetry criticism how they reflect broader trends Arabic literature. data obtained are from books by critics, Al-Shi'r wa Al-Shu'ara Tabaqat Fuhul As-Shu'ara. By comparing thoughts, results this reveal that both had similar criteria for evaluating but differed emphasis certain aspects poetic form content. concludes his assessment identity because criticisms looking at suitability its 'Arudh Qafiyah. Meanwhile, criticizes legitimacy poems revealing poem poet see originality or tribe (region) originates.
